Dear Members,The year is slowly coming to an end as we entered the month of November. We hope that all of you join us in making the most out of the remaining months in the year.
To recall the events from last month, last October 3, we had German Unity Day. Last October 9, a new exhibit entitled “Affordable Art” by Magkaisa Mabini Art Collection begun in the Club and will be available for viewing and sale until December 10. Last but not the least, we had a very successful Oktoberfest last October 13 and 14. Thank you again to everyone for participating in our annual Oktoberfest event.
.To start the month, we are welcoming back our weekly specials and of course, welcoming the month with a new cocktail on the menu. Make sure you check these out when you visit the Club!
Last Saturday, November 4 (6:00 PM), we also had Internations here in the Club. For those who expressed interest in joining this event, do reach out to their team directly.

This week, on Thursday, November 9, 2023 we will once again be welcoming Brumms Quality Wines Inc. for “Simply Red”, a Red Wine Tasting event here in the Club. “The Business of Football” conference, sponsored by LALIGA, BLOCKSPORT, and ASN, and organized by MMC Sportz will take place on 10 November 2023 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Raffles Makati. To continue talks on Football, the Club will be having Bundesliga Showings on November 4, 11, and 25. We’ll see all of you here in the Club!
On Thursday, November 16 to Saturday, November 18, 2023 the German Club will be having a food kiosk at Mabuhay Germany happening in the World Trade Center, Hall A. Visit the booth for good food while you roam around and view other German companies.
Meanwhile in the Club, on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, the Asian SKAT Masters Tournament will be happening. With that, do note that the Club will not be accepting walk-ins and reservations on Saturday, November 18 but will still be open for take-out and delivery orders.
On Thursday, November 30, there will also be a Joint Maritime Committee Meeting held here in the Club. More details to follow.
Meet the Team!
Our next featured employee is our Commis II Cook who has been with the Club for 24 years. Eric Baronda, or “Baronda” as called by his colleagues is actually one of the youngest members from the Kitchen team. In the Club, he enjoys working on his station and with his peers while listening to music! With him, music is something that would never disappear. He hopes that all members continue to enjoy the food that he and the team makes.
