| Dear Members,. A Very Happy New Year to all! We hope that you were able to celebrate the holiday season with loved ones an welcome the year with happiness. As we enter the new year, we’d like to thank you for your continued support for the German Club..We’re grateful and happy that you chose us to be a part of all of your December celebrations with family, friends, and colleagues. We also had our Children’s Nikolaus Party last December 9 where the lovely families got to have fun and meet St. Nikolaus. On December 16, we also had our Members’ Christmas Dinner, thank you to all who attended and we hope you enjoyed the night like we did. For our art enthusiasts, we welcomed FAVA with their First Art Exhibit starting last December 11. We also held the Magkaisa Mabini Art’s awarding for their Rizal Wine competition. To end the month, we had Die Feuerzangenbowle last December 22. |

| This month for sports, Bundesliga will begin showing again on Saturday, January 13, this will be shown in the Club for all our football fans. As for the golf group, on January 31, they will have the Payreto Cup in Canlubang North. For those interested in learning more about the golf group, you can find their website linked here. |

| Save The Date! On Saturday, January 27, 2024, we will be celebrating the 118th Club Anniversary with a Dinner with all our members. All guests must follow the Elegant Dress Code (Suit & Tie for Men, Dress for Women). To reserve your slot, make sure to email us at reservations@germanclub.ph |

| Good news to art lovers, FAVA or the Filipino Advocates for Visual Arts Inc., is extending their Art Exhibit here in the Club until Thursday, February 8, 2024.To learn more about the artists, click on the flyer below. For those interested in buying any of the artworks, feel free to approach anyone from the dining team. |
| To end the month, the Joint Maritime Committee (JMC) will be holding their Joint Maritime Committee Meeting for January on January 25, 2024 with Anne H. Steffensen, CEO of the Danish Shipowners’ Association as their speaker. If you’re interested in joining, do let us know or register via the button below. |

| Romel Perocho, our Commis III Cook, has been with the German Club for 22 years. During his stay in the Club, he learned to truly appreciate the craft and gain a deeper love for food. Despite the numerous years that has passed, Romel is stil finding the art of cooking enjoyable and something that he looks forward to in his day. |
