German Club Manila: August 2022 Newsletter

Dear Members,

I hope the month of July was as peaceful and fruitful for you as it was for us at the club. To those who just came back to Manila, I hope you had a safe flight and enjoyed your vacation!

Last month, we had very enlightening events. A special forum held by GPCCI last July 6 discussed the prospects and perspectives for the current President’s administration with different business leaders.

On July 26, we also welcomed Magkaisa Creative Space to the Club presenting their art exhibit entitled “Being Human” which will be viewable until September 15, 2022.

Exciting things are happening with the Bundesliga live viewing in the club starting this August 6, 2022, with the 2nd Bundesliga shown from 7:00 PM and the Bundesliga from 9:30 PM onwards.

This incoming August 25, a Joint Maritime Committee Meeting will also be held from 4:00 PM onwards at the Club.

Finally, we are nearing the much-awaited 82nd German Club Oktoberfest 2022 in Solaire that is happening on October 14 & 15. You still have until the end of the month to take advantage of the Early Bird Rates offered to Members so make sure to reserve your seats!

We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our gratitude to all for choosing the Club to celebrate special occasions and even business functions. We always encourage our members who are looking for a venue to book these events at the Club. The Team is more than happy to assist you.
