| Dear Members, We are now in the second month of the year, the month of February! January was quite a long month for all of us but we hope to see your continued support this next month. Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating the Club’s 118th Year Anniversary last Saturday, January 27, may many more years come for us. We’d love to give our member, Thorsten Franz, a special thank you for sharing more about our Club’s early history, we certainly learned a lot! Last January 23, we also had the month’s Economic Forum and on January 25, held the Joint Maritime Committee Meeting. |

| To start the month, Last Saturday, February 3, we had InterNations in the Club. It was another lovely time connecting with other members of the InterNations community. |
| For sports, we will continue having our Bundesliga showings in the Club every Saturday, join us and watch the match On February 22, the Golf group will have the AAI Cup in Ayala Greenfield. For those interested in learning more about the golf group, you can find their website linked here. |

| This week, on February 9 and 10, 2024, the Club will be closed in observance of the Chinese New Year which are holidays in the country. Regular Club operations will resume on Monday, February 12, 2024. |

| To those interested in bringing home your own artwork from FAVA Inc, don’t forget to do so as their exhibit will end this Thursday, February 8, 2024. |
| For our art enthusiasts, don’t fret as we are once again welcoming Magkaisa Mabini Art Collection and their art exhibit called ‘Nature’ – ‘Natur’ from February 12 to April 13, 2024.NATURE and NATUR, English and German for the same meaning, gives the viewer the possibility to see what he wants to see and dream. With the next exhibition, mixing German and European Art with Filipino Art, having 3 artworks of well known Filipino Mabini Artist as centerpieces of the exhibition.To view the paintings and the pricelist, kindly click on the flyer below. |
| This month, expect a special menu prepared in celebration of Valentines Day! More details to come soon, make sure to check your emails and Viber for updates. To end the month, we will be having the Economic Forum on February 28, 2024. On the other hand, the Joint Maritime Committee (JMC) will be holding their Joint Maritime Committee Meeting on February 29, 2024 with Congressman Captain Khymer Adan T. Olaso as their speaker. If you’re interested in joining, do let us know or register via the button below. |
| Lastly, we’d like to invite all our Regular Members to join us on March 20, 2024, for our Annual General Membership Meeting (AGM) to learn more about what happened in the Club the past year as well as vote for our next set of Board of Directors. |

| An employee who has been with us for 16 (going 17) years is Raul Demdam, our Garde Manger. He enjoys preparing and serving the Club’s desserts and hopes that everyone does too! Aside from the Club, similar to his peers, his main priority and where he spends most time on are his kids. With Raul, he always makes sure that his peers have a smile on their face both during and off duty! |
