Club Activities
Football
Having practiced only four weeks prior to tournaments three guys (Chris Zimmer – now in Seoul / Korea for Lufthansa, Thorsten Sierski – still with Rieckermann Philippines and Michael Scheile – still with Veltrup Philippines) decided beginning of 2005 to start a team playing regularly at the British School. Inititially players had to be called up to confirm that at least six football enthusiasts show up. We played every Monday.
Skat
Its a pretty long tradition, that the German Club offers and houses a regular cards group evening same as national and international tournaments. Since 2009 a regular skat round meets at the German Club Restaurant, currently on Wednesday Evening. The same day, the Swiss Community holds her Jass Evening.
Golf
The German Club has a golf committee that organizes monthly tournaments. About 50 enthusiastic golfers are meeting on different golf courses to win the coveted trophy.Every tournament is followed by lunch or dinner and a good fellowship time.
