| Dear Members, First and foremost, I would like to thank all the Members who attended the Annual General Membership Meeting (AGM) on March 19th and voted for our new Board for 2026-2027. Many familiar faces have accepted the mandate to serve for another year on the Board (Joerg Gruenewald, Markus Dolenga, Martin Baulig, Holger Beck, Tobias Schleicher, Kai Langermann, and myself). Our appreciation for their past services to the Club goes to Daniel Rossa and Marco Heer, who will be replaced by Simon Blunck and Harald Schoppe as Directors. The focus of the new Board for the upcoming months will be on facility and service improvements as well as to continue to follow the principles of good governance which were put in place last year. Secondly, a big shout out to the entire German Club and its fantastic 120th Anniversary Party, which truly lived up to the occasion. A dedicated newsletter and access to photos and videos will be shortly available. And last but not least, congratulations to Mr. Thorsten Franz, who was confirmed as “Honorary Member” during our recent AGM. After 32 years of membership and years of service to the Club, this is a well-deserved recognition.Looking ahead, some of the Club’s signature events are just around the corner:The Hamburg Night with an authentic menu and traditional entertainment will take place on May 15, 2026 from 6:30 PM onwards – please don’t miss your RSVP86th Oktoberfest: Exclusive “Early Bird” Members Ticket Sale runs from May 4 to 31, 2026.  April 4 to 5, 2026Far East Football TournamentCongratulations to our GC Eagles football team who joined the recent 42nd Far East Football Tournament in Bangkok. With over 40 teams participating, the Eagles secured 5th place out of 15 teams in the Masters category. We are proud of the team’s achievement at this international tournament. |
 April 11, 2026Taiwan SKAT TournamentWe would like to congratulate our SKAT group who joined the recent tournament in Taiwan last month. This tournament welcomed 39 players from 8 countries, where we had 6 players who represented the German Club. It was a great turnout for the team as their team leader, Simon Hofmann, placed 4th overall! |

Ten teams will compete in this 7-a-side event from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM with the winners announced at the 86th Oktoberfest celebration that evening. |
