120th German Club Anniversary
| Dear Members, Today, we celebrate a truly remarkable milestone: 120 Years of the German Club Manila. Founded on the 16 January 1906, our Club has stood the test of time—through changing eras, global challenges, and generations of members who have shaped it with their dedication, resilience, and sense of community. Few institutions in the Philippines, and indeed within the international German community, can proudly look back on such a rich and uninterrupted legacy. Over the past 120 years, the German Club Manila has been many things: a cultural home, a social gathering place, a witness to history, and a bridge between Germany and the Philippines. From periods of growth and celebration to moments of disruption and rebuilding, the Club has endured because of one constant—its members. This anniversary is therefore a celebration of our history and a tribute to all those who came before us: the founders, past presidents, board of directors, honorary members, regular members, partners, and our dedicated staff who kept the spirit of the Club alive. As we honor the past, we also look firmly towards the future. Today, the German Club Manila stands on a sound foundation and continues to evolve. We embracing new ideas, new generations, and new ways of doing things and look forward to many more years of steady growth. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Club, I would like to congratulate each and every one of you for this truly special moment in the history of the Club. And it’s your continued support, engagement, and participation what makes the German Club Manila more than just a venue—it is a community.
