| Dear Members of the German Club Manila, As we step into 2026, I would like to extend my warmest New Year greetings to you and your families. A new year always offers us a moment to pause, reflect, and then move forward with renewed clarity and purpose. We leave behind the “Year of the Snake” under the Chinese Zodiac signs, which has been one of reflection, adjustment, and necessary “shedding” and let go of what no longer served us—habits, structures, and assumptions that needed renewal. It was a year that asked us to be thoughtful, strategic, and patient, and I am proud of how our Club navigated this period with resilience and dignity. But now, we enter the “Year of the Horse”—a powerful symbol of energy, progress, and forward motion. The Horse represents confidence, collaboration, and momentum. It calls on us to move together with purpose, to act decisively, and to embrace opportunity with optimism and courage. For the German Club Manila, 2026 will be a year of: • Strengthening our community, ensuring the Club remains a welcoming home for long-standing members and new generations alike. • Energizing our activities and cultural programs, with our 120th Club Anniversary just around the corner. • Progressing our governance and sustainability, so the Club continues to thrive for decades to come. Most importantly, the “Year of the Horse” reminds us that progress is not achieved alone. It is achieved when we move forward together—members, staff, and leadership—each contributing in their own way to the spirit that defines our Club. I would like to thank you for your continued support, your trust, and your commitment to the German Club Manila. Your participation is what gives life to this institution, and your sense of belonging is what keeps it strong. May 2026 bring you and your loved ones good health, renewed energy, and let us leave behind what has been shed, embrace the road ahead, and move forward with confidence—together. | Until January 31, 2025 Visions of the Season  The newest art exhibit by the Filipino Advocates for Visual Arts (FAVA) called “Visions of the Season” is still available for viewing and sale at the German Club until January 31, 2026.We invite all members and guests to take a look at the wonderful work made by the different artists of the group as it is only available for a limited time. Welcome the new year with new pieces of art for your home! |

| Thursday, November 13, 2025 | 6:30 PM Pfoten & Purpose: A Night for a Cause for Our Furry Friends with Paws  We thank all members and guests who supported Pawssion Project’s initiative last November 13. Through this event, many animals received sponsorships for their basic needs and medication! |
| November 21 & 22, 2025 Asian SKAT Masters  Congratulations to Team Hong Kong, Ralf Sievers, and Bernd Jueckmann for winning in this year’s tournament! The Club is happy to once again host this annual event where we welcomed different teams and players. |
| November 27 & 28, 2025 Golf Circuit: Year End Tournament  Congratulations to all the winners of the Golf Circuit’s Year End Tournament that happened in Canlubang South. Special regards to the Overall Champion, Joey Magcalyao who won the 2025 Bernhard Langer Trophy! |
| Saturday, December 6, 2025 | 2:00 PM Children’s Nikolaus Party  A great start to the holiday season where kids and members alike were treated to fun games, delicious food, and a visit from St. Nikolaus himself. Thank you to all members who supported this event and for joining us! |
| Saturday, December 13, 2025 | 6:30 PM Members Christmas Party  It was a great evening full of smiles and laughter as we celebrated the Christmas spirit with fellow members. Thanks to the live entertainment and great feast, it was certainly an amazing event for all who joined. |

| January 16, 2026 120th Club Anniversary  This Friday, January 16, 2026, the Club will be celebrating our 120th Anniversary! A special celebration will commence on Friday, February 27, 2026 with full details regarding the event to follow. Let’s celebrate this milsetone together! |

Job Promotion We would like to congratulate Kris, Roxanne, and Allyza from the dining team for being promoted to the captain waitress role effective January 1, 2026. The Club believes that these individuals will be able to lead the team effectively and bring great service to all members. |
Annual Dues Payment A reminder to all Regular Manila Members and Associate Manila Members to consider settling your annual dues and fees in full on or before January 31, 2026.Regular Members who settle in full by this date will enjoy the privilege of Php 6,000 annual consumables without monthly forfeiture of unused credits. |
Bonus Fund Drive Kindly join in our annual Bonus Fund Drive, with 100% of contributions going to our employees. This is in place of a service charge or tipping here in the Club and is purely voluntary. Pledges of any amount are greatly appreciated by the team.Thank you for your consideration! |
Nomination Committee With the Annual General Meeting (AGM) happening soon, we would like to call on interested parties to join the nomination committee. The committee will be in charge of nominating the candidates for the Board of Directors.We ask interested members to approach our team! |
